Chief Recycled Glass Grinder

This exquisite Canadian made grinder was carved by west coast artist Mark Garfield. Born and raised on the West Coast of British Columbia, he developed an interest in carving at an early age copying totem poles and masks that inspired him throughout his youth. Mark’s work reflects a contemporary approach to traditional northwest coast art influences which have shaped his carving style. His work is held in private and corporate collections around the world. The recycled glass sleeves feature beautifully carved Haida Chief in ceremonial wear complete with chilkat blankets. The ceramic grinding mechanism combined with the stainless steel post and cap makes these grinders suitable for salt, pepper or herbs. Kitchen tested by a Marriott Executive Chef, these grinders will provide long lasting enjoyment.

This recycled glass Salad Server Set, artwork by Tsimshian native artist Bill Hellin Raven, is heat resistant and dishwasher safe.

Bill Raven enjoys a very rewarding career as a creative gold engraver, painter, woodcarver, and book illustrator. He loves to paint mythological images to educate people on the history of the Tsimshian nation and the many stories passed down through his ancestors. His greatest passion however is to spiritually represent and bond individuals together through the use of native Life Crest symbols. The art of Bill Helin is reproduced in collaboration with the artist and royalties are paid to the artist on each item sold.

Whether you are serving pasta or salad or stirring your pot this ergonomically balanced utensil is a pleasure to use. Each piece approximately 7″ tall. Shipped in a printed gift box.
